Many parents can’t wait to snap photos of their little one as they head off for their first day at school. It can be a huge moment for many families. Unfortunately, one youngster was having a tougher time than many. That was until one little boy held the hand of his crying classmate on their first day of school.
The First Day
Courtney Moore stood back and took photos of her son on his first day of school. Sadly, it wasn’t long before she noticed that one of the children was feeling emotional. He was in the corner crying to himself.
Getting Upset
Courtney had no idea what to do, and she wasn’t sure if anyone else had noticed the youngster. It was supposed to be an exciting time for all the children and their parents. Sadly, it seemed to be too much to handle.
Rushing To Help
Amazingly, Courtney’s son also noticed the student and knew that he had to help. He rushed back outside and grabbed the boy’s hand. Country’s son continued to keep hold of his new friend as they walked hand in hand into the school.
Sharing The Story
Courtney was so proud of her son that she wanted to share the story on social media. She knew that her son’s first day of school would be one that none of their family could ever forget.
Learning The Truth
The boy’s mom soon spotted the post and wanted to thank Courtney and her son for their kindness. Apparently, her son has autism and was struggling with the change.
The boy’s mom wished that everyone in the world could be more like Courtney and her son. However, seeing her little one head off with a new friend holding his hand was enough to put her mind at rest for once.
