There’s nothing worse for some people than not being able to use their cell phones. Some older people have been thrust into a world of technology that seemed to develop overnight with no way of understanding how it works, and too worried they might break something. These Girl Scouts decided they would help some seniors learn how to use their cell phone.

Making An Impression
It seems some Girl Scouts are making quite the impression in Arlington, Virginia, for deciding to help some senior citizens learn how to use their cell phones. They have specifically set up a kind of walk-in clinic where elderly people can come to seek advice on how to send a text message, or even set up internet banking.
Opening Doors To The Elderly
There are many types of cells in the world that work differently, but the girls were divided into the model of phone that they knew how to use. Whether it was an iPhone or an Android, these girls had the knowledge and experience to help the senior citizens work their way through their cell. While some just wanted to be able to contact their family members, others were taking the technological leap and setting up ApplePay.

The Girl Scouts Were Touched By Their Gratitude
One of the Girl Scouts was taken aback when, once she had shown this senior how to write a text message and send it, the first thing she did was message her daughter. It showed them how they’re helping these people to stay connected and in the loop. The girls also created and printed guides so that the elderly people had something to refer back to if they forgot.
It just shows how a little bit of care and time goes a long way.
