Dogs are pretty great, right? Not only are they many of our best friends, but they have also been used as therapy animals for many years. Those big eyes and love-filled cuddles can sometimes be all we need. Now, these therapy dogs are bringing joy to children’s hospital patients.
Sharing The Love
Therapy dogs in Southampton, U.K. are sharing the love at children’s hospitals across the city. Now, Milo, Jessie, Hattie, Leo, Quinn, and Archie the golden retrievers are perfectly trained to make sure they are there for any youngster who needs them during their time at the hospital.

Leading The Way
The therapy dogs all have their own way they love to share the love with children on the wards. Some spend their time by their sides to help comfort anyone feeling upset or distressed. Others help when children are going through medical procedures, and they need something to distract them.
Using Their Time
That’s not all. It turns out the therapy dogs also have time to make a video or two along the way. Many children are worried about the procedures and what they involve. Thankfully, the dogs have worked together to film many instructional videos covering things like how to get an x-ray and what happens in an MRI scan.

Visits For Everyone
Thankfully, the dogs have time for everyone on their visits. They often dress up as the Easter Bunny or Santa around the holidays, but that’s not all. These dogs even visit children in isolation and give high fives and love through the glass so that everyone gets their chance.
Sometimes, we all need a dog in our lives to make our days a little brighter. Thankfully, these therapy dogs aren’t only putting a smile on children’s faces, but they are helping to get them through some tough times, too.
